Number 4 - who would have thought!!

First dilemma finding a midwife, worst possible timing – due date 5th January 2010!
With many phone calls later and a lot of no’s, because of the Christmas/New Year due date I was given Heather’s number to try. What a stroke of luck she was available.

With our first meeting I knew instantly this was going to be an awesome experience – her loving genuine smile and calming nature boosted me with confidence immediately.
Being our fourth child you would expect it would be a case of been there done that but it was quite the contrary.
Heather explained so many things to me, which I had never considered before. I had very informed information on all of the decisions we needed to make and her 100% backing with all the decisions my husband and I made.

I had a problem free pregnancy and an awesome water birth. I had a problem with bleeding after giving birth to our daughter but with Heather’s efficiency and quick response I was immediately cared for by herself and the staff at Queen Mary.

Thank you Heather for such wonderful care, Adrian and I feel very privileged to have had you as our midwife. It will be an experience we will treasure always.
