Stephanie, Adrian, Claudia, Emily, Hunter, and McKenna 23rd April 2010Number 4 - who would have thought!! First dilemma finding a midwife, worst possible timing – due date 5th January 2010! With many phone calls later and a lot of no’s, because of the Christmas/New Year due date I was given Heather’s number to try. What a stroke of luck she was available. With our first meeting I knew instantly this was going to be an awesome experience – her loving genuine smile and calming nature boosted me with confidence immediately. Being our fourth child you would expect it would be a case of been there done that but it was quite the contrary. Heather explained so many things to me, which I had never considered before. I had very informed information on all of the decisions we needed to make and her 100% backing with all the decisions my husband and I made. I had a problem free pregnancy and an awesome water birth. I had a problem with bleeding after giving birth to our daughter but with Heather’s efficiency and quick response I was immediately cared for by herself and the staff at Queen Mary. Thank you Heather for such wonderful care, Adrian and I feel very privileged to have had you as our midwife. It will be an experience we will treasure always. Stephanie |

Tiffany's Homeopathy Journey At my 19 week midwife appointment my blood pressure had gone up again, I could feel I was stressed. Heather recommended I see Louise as homeopathy is gentle & safe to use during pregnancy.Louise immediately put me at ease during the initial consultation. I found it easy to talk & open up. Her kind & gentle manner combined with the ability to listen with out judging enabled me to discuss my fears & worries. I was amazed at how powerful the remedy was that Louise gave me. I felt less stressed & the panicky breathless feelings stopped. At my next midwife appointment my blood pressure was back down. It was great to have this result as proof that the remedy had worked. I was converted to homeopathy! During the remainder of my pregnancy Louise helped treat my hay fever very efficiently & kept my blood pressure down. My due date arrived with no sign of baby. Our baby was born five days later. What a wonderful birth it was! Due to unforeseen circumstances my back up midwife was not available & Louise stepped in to assist Heather. I felt very privileged to have her at the birth of my son & to act not only as a midwife but as homeopath too. Throughout labour she gave me remedies to help ease back ache, strengthen contractions & to help keep me calm. Her quiet, caring energy was exactly what I wanted at the side of the birthing pool. I felt nurtured & that all my needs & those of my baby were met. After the birth Louise continued her care & support with remedies to help me heal. I continue to see Louise for homeopathy treatment for myself & also my baby. It is reassuring to know that her expert & intuitive advice is always available.
